On the radio
 

Hate to tell you this but my dulcet tones will be ringing out from Radio Lancashire a few times in the next few months.

First radio slot is on Monday afternoon - 12-1pm when I will be defending (and I use that word quite seriously) International Women's Week. It's a phone in thing so please feel free to phone in and ask any questions.

Later in the month (date to be announced soon) there will be documentary about one of Mid Pennine Art's projects. I spent all yesterday tramping through fields and hills to look at some of the art in the environment - ps. I'm now off work today because I have a chest infection and can barely speak or breathe. Anyway, the documentary should be quite interesting.

Then later on, July 1st, you'll hear a dramatisation of the Accrington Pals play. We're recording it later this month. I'll keep you posted.

Well, I don't know if anyone heard it or not but it went ok. No one actually phoned in, we didn't get any men ranting and raving that they want an International Men's day or anything like that. I suppose it just shows that it's not really that much of an issue either way!
