Was Really Weird ....WW1 and WW2 Grave Yard Pictures
Been to Belgium this week, whilst we was there in Adinkereke i decided to go and look at the WW1 and WW2 war memorials. Out of all the graves in the yard, the first one i went to had the same name as my father ! It felt really eerie. I wonder if he is some distant relative.
The grave yard is in the process of being re-turfed. It contained graves of English, Russian and German soldiers. Some headstones looked like they could have been Jewish. Here are some photos. Quite dissapointed they didnt come out better though . http://www.iwrp.co.uk/uploads/jimmi5...erke war 4.JPG http://www.iwrp.co.uk/uploads/jimmi5...erke war 3.JPG http://www.iwrp.co.uk/uploads/jimmi5...erke war 2.JPG |

:) Just realised, thanks to the graves and pm's, that we used to be next door neighbours.
