I had one that went off every time I made toast (not even burning it). My ex said it was sensitive. I said it was paranoid. But they are a good idea, and I will definitely be following this one up.

i had sum put in by the firemen they neva go of for nowt n it only took bout ten minutes - unfortunately as i was hopin for a bit longer wi 4 men in uniform in my house - haha

Just had 3 burly firemen round to fit smoke alarms;2 new alarms and a talk on fire safety all because of a post on here! Thanks very much,it really is a great idea and much appreciated!:)

last night three firemen came to my home to fit some smoke alarms,They were really nice and one even had a fire safety talk to us and I found it very helpful! :D
