Re: Whatever happened to feminine dress
I love dressing up, and I love hats - any excuse to wear one, and I'm there. My other half wears suits because that's what he feels comfortable in. You'd never get him near a pair of jeans, although I do wear them sometimes because they're practical. I think a lot depends on what sort of job you do - some jobs do demand a suit or smart clothes, so it's good to dress down occasionally.
Anyway, how do you know who's wearing tights or stockings, talentedbutslow? I thought it was only Superman who had X-ray vision? |

Re: Whatever happened to feminine dress
Feminine dress is still very much around, there's just less of it actually on the body of the female.

Re: Whatever happened to feminine dress
I went to a funeral the other day. I find it strange that most people don't seem to want to make the effort anymore. I wouldn't dream of going in anything other than a black suit white shirt and black tie. Quite a few people just turned up in everyday casual wear.
As for dressing smartly. I enjoy putting a suit etc on when we are going somewhere special. I'm not a great one for the latest fashion but when I see something I like I buy it. |
