organs for sale
 

it appears china are selling organs from executed prisoners.

i personaly dont see a problem with this as long as they arnt just executing people to get their organs why not sell them , granted i would rather see a system where they were given to the ones who need them but china choose to sell them and thats their buisness

i know for sure if i needed a kidney and i was offered one from an executed murderer i would want it rather than see it go to waste

wether or not you believe in the death penalty it happens despite what you think so should these organs of murderers and the likes be given to those who need them ..?

we are after all living in a society where we are encouraged to recycle :-)

Hehehe... I also believe that we should recycle and there is a world wide shortage of organs. The problem I have with it is..........I wouldn't trust the Chinese to run thorough checks on the organs. China has an escalating HIV problem which is something that they have denied for many years until recently. When they finally held up their hands and admitted that they needed help their numbers of infected people were well over a million......

I have no objection to the principal of using organs from death penalty prisoners but I wouldn't want one infected by HIV, Hep B or any other nasties..:D

There is also increasing scientific evidence of 'cell memory' - this is where the donors characteristics, likes and dislikes are passed on to the recipient of the organ. I'm not sure if just a kidney would cause that problem, but a heart or a liver may do...so I'll pass thanks!
