Diabolical Dentist
I am still in disbelief 1 week after receiving a letter from my dentist stating that they can no longer provide me with NHS exempt dental care!!!
The annoying part being, i am only exempt for another 6 months having had a baby last October. I have always paid for my dental treatment and it seems as soon as i become exempt for a mear 12 months i get sacked off!! DISGUSTING!!!! What do you think and does anyone have any advise on what i can do to redeem my place? |
Re: Diabolical Dentist
Its crazy that they do that esspecially if prior to that you paid. They are showing they are just money grabbing and proberlly think your subsiquent visits over the next few years arnt going to be paid for. This attitude does not help those that need the treatment as the past 18 months have shown. Can imagine what would happen if doctors took the same attitude but then the money some make from the NHS under the present system the dont need to.

Re: Diabolical Dentist
Get onto Greg Pope, I had registerd with NHS direct nearly 12 month ago so that i could become resistered at an NHS dentist while I was still exempt, by Feb this year I hadn't heard anything so Ian contacted Greg Pope.
Within a few days of cantacting him, the Primary Care Trust got involved and I was registered at the Oakleigh in Ossy. Contacting him may not solve your problem, but anything is worth a try. |
