Re: Charity begins at the pub???
Remember "Charity begins at home". If you don't have much money, then you can't afford to give. That's not mean, its sensible. You're entitled to a night out without being badgered. I have a regular donation to a charity, which goes out by standing order. There are some charities which I would not give to on principle, anyway. I agree the Sally Army do great work, and I will always support them - funny how they always used to haunt the pubs, though! - I can remember my Uncle Jimmy coming home on a Saturday night with a copy of the Sally Ann children's paper for me. Stand your ground, girl, and just tell them to s*d off.
