£50 Compensation For Alec
 

Remember i would keep you all informed about when Alec was set about after school.
The youth involved was taken to court and found guilty. Ive still not had a letter as to what his punnishment was from the police etc but this morning a letter from the courts has arrived to say they have granted Alec £50 compensation from the youth. I would imagine he will pay it to the courts on a weekly basis of a couple of quid.

Im delighted about this, we never asked for compensation, just Justice.

Looks like me being adamant that i wanted justice for my son has worked for a change.

Good result - perhaps this little yob will think twice next time if it costs him money. I's sure Alec can find a good use for it.

I am very pleased the little hooligan hs been made to pay Alec the money. But it is not very much money to compensate Alec for the abuse he suffered, it is totally unacceptable what happened to him.
It does show that if you know you are in the right you should be very insistant and stick to your guns. I wonder how many others have caved in, in similiar circumstances.

That's good news. Lke others have said I hope he'll learn his lesson and think twice before resorting to violence in the future.

I hope Alec does something enjoyable with the money.:)

Don't hold your breath, the court might have awarded it to your son, but their next task will be getting the money off the guilty party, if he doesn't want to pay up that can take an awful long time!

glad somthing was done about the littel turd the next time he assaults somone i hope he gets sent to under 18's prison

Justice is served. About time something was done about young thugs and the court stopped pussy footing about with them. Just goes to show that if pressure is put on even the police and CPS have to do what they are paid to do.

I am pretty new to accy web so dont know the circumstances involved! all i can tell you is well done to you i have a little story for you.My 9 year old daughter was being bullied at school off a brat of a lad (could have rung his neck) both me and my wife reported this to the head teacher on MANY occasions to no avail! What happens next my daughter was pushed over in the school grounds and dislocated her elbow needing surgical treatment! The head teacher dennied we had been in to see him before this. we took the lad to court and my daughter was awarded a nice payment.Just goes to show hit them where it hurts thats the only way
