Spring and Summer
 

Yes, spring is soon to be a forgotton memory, Summer finally seems to be casting her golden rays upon us.
As I sit here with all my windows and doors wide open listening to the local children playing truant, breathing in.... what is that strange smell? Oh yes fresh air! Watching my curling wallpaper wafting in the breeze.
I'm proud to say that not a single item of clothing (except for what I have on), is waiting to be washed, this includes the stash of clothes left by Roy two months ago.
It has been worth the effort the money spent using the washing machine has been compensated for by not using the drier but hanging the stuff on the line, oh joy of joys.

I have just been in conversation with Mick and he is in a similar vein as myself waxing lyrical about these wonderful almost seemingly endless warm days................

What you need is a cat to play with. Why not try the local cat rescue? I am sure they are always looking for new owners.

I don't have to go to the cat rescue, just dig over a patch of earth set a snare and 'wham bam thank you mam' I got myself a new playmate!

Well less will you come and do my washing? Ive got a mound waiting to be done and an even bigger pile of ironing. I just dont seem to have the time to do it - meetings, work, voluntary and paid, boozing, birthday parties, coming on here, garden, sunbathing i just dont seem to have the time to do any house work at all

The fact the only woodwork you can reach to wipe down is the skirting boards is no excuse for not cleaning the house you dirty b**** :D

what do men have to do to please some women? i mean you get them the most up to date iron and a few years later they see another iron they want and the next thing they want is a new ironing board! i mean it just gets out of control

just have a look at the old ironing board and you will see its Ok and just needs proping up with some old argos/catalog books she has managed to accumalate over the years
