Unexpected birthday card

Yesterday i recieved a birthday card through the most, thought it was a bit strange because it had a printed label as the address. My first thought was, perhaps it was a card from the Conservative party (since its the only thing I can think of where i'd have membership).. anyway I opened it up and there inside was a card from Greg Pope!

I was slightly confused to say the least, unless i've got drunk and met up for dinner with Mr Pope, I can't recall knowing him :p

So, is this a nice sentiment as it's my 18th, or is it simply a 'vote winner'? ;)

Dont knock it. At least you got 1 birthday card. :p

Maybe now he is a member on hear its his way of keeping up with people on the site. To think he might be trying to win a vote based on it is odd to say the least. You have a clear indication of your political leanings hear so it is proberly a friendly not political gesture. :D

Dosnt say much for your mob though does it. :D

Hoped you enjoyed your birthday though.

I take it the card from Peter is lost in the post?

Either that or he's eaten it.

I'd be asking where your card is from the others. It's quite normal to recieve birthday cards from politicians on your 18th, I suppose it is a vote winner, but also just incase their opponent has so that they don't look like they don't care. I like to think of it as a welcome to the adult world of being able to vote, and have an input.
