It's about time
 

Well Folks, I suppose I should really be putting this in anything goes, but hey' even I make mistakes!!!!
I have watched this site rise and fall, then rise and erm' fall, but I can no longer continue, I have seen good contributers and I have seen me, there has been something not quite right here over the last month or so.
I do know that the majority are willing to kick against the more obnoxious that I put on here, but that isn't good enough, there was a regular contributer, that would use his imagination and even twist facts so that they would fall neatly into the pattern that he was trying to weave.
He has obviously lost his spirit to post and even though he does observe, (usually in the early morning) what we are up to, he no longer posts!
(yes, A.B. I do mean you),
He like I, (or is that I like he), have tried to put forward posts knowing that they won't be popular, He uses intelligence, I use, what can I wind people up with this time?
His makes you think, mine make you annoyed, but like 'ying and yang', the opposites are needed to help make the whole.
Without A.B. contributing I have decided to stop, I will follow his example and observe,

Are forums seasonal? because the 'other one' that I used to be a member of down here, seen a rise in jan feb march april, after a quiet november and december. I'm not sure if it's seasonal or the effort I put in to get people to post. I think forums go quieter in the summer, so I'm up against the odd getting my new one started.

You'd miss having someone that has a different opinion,to argue with, it's boring on a forum if everyone agrees, you end up thread wandering, just to find something to discuss.

wonder if AB has issues with someone or the site and thats why AB isn't posting. If it is AB come and tell us.

AB might be giving someone else a chance. With Less he is getting lonely and he cant upset Gayle anymore and has withdrawn to regroup.

Actually sad.... much as Less and I have our spats it's all done in fun and we both know that! Or at least I think we both know that!

Amazing stuff. brings to mind some momentous leaving speeches of the last century, Edward the 8th's abdication,Nixon leaving the white house, robbie williams leaving take that and many more. a bit wierd though "observing from the sidelines" peeping tom stuff!

And just to prove it.....here I am! In Person, so to speak.

Many apologies to my regular readers and members in general for my enforced absence over the last couple of months, but what with the house move and the pressure of work etc. etc., there hasn't really been much time to spend on the internet - there still isn't.

As Gayle and Less have observed I am still able to keep an eye on you all but that is about all that I have been able to do. Hopefully as the season progresses things will even out and I will have a little more leisure time to make a nuisance of myself in.

Less, don't you dare stop posting. You are a pillar of our online community, whether you like it or not, and it is incumbent on pillars to be there whatever the weather.

S'all for now, must dash, I have a sponge in the oven.

A-B, its nice to know you are still with us in mind if not quite body. I don't normally point out spelling mistakes but, I think you spelt pillock wrong if your post above ;).

I wish you lot would all stop worrying about Less. As soon as he is released he will be back on here posting. He is not allowed a PC in his cell in case he hurts himself with it. After all there would be little point padding the walls and sticking a PC on a desk in the middle of his cell.

Now that AB might in the next few weeks get back to posting and Less returns from his self impossed exile then normal (if it can be called that) service will be resumed. Hip hip hoorah, hip hip hoorah, hip hip hoorah. :D

Does that mean we can have some serious in depth discussions to look forward to? I miss those.

I know I once argued for permission to thread wander and deviate but sometimes that's all we do seem to do and I miss the chunky lumps of stuff to get your teeth into. :(
