Local Elections, slightly confused!
I read in todays Observer a story about Clayton councillor Nick Collingridge having his nomination forms signed by a member of the Tory club. However defeated councillor Tim O Kane added this quote "This situation has compromised the Conservatives. All I can say is so much for keeping politics out of local elections."
I did`nt realise that the recent local elections were a popularity poll for your favorite councillor, which begs the question how was the vivicious Mrs Knight beaten by the Widow Twankeyesq Mr Britcliffe? and maybe next time we can have a Stars in their Eyes type makeover :D |
Re: Local Elections, slightly confused!

Re: Local Elections, slightly confused!
I suppose Gayle could do the Stars in your eyes thing as Boy George (Galloway) or Marie (Harold) Wilson.
