Full Length and Fabulous

I've just finished watching David and Victoria's celebration party for the World Cup and really enjoyed it.

There is so much that they do for charity, most remembered for me was the family who asked for a signed photo to auction and ended up having all the treatment paid for their critically ill child.

Don't slag me off, I really reckon that they pay back and I really hope that our David goes for gold and brings the World Cup home xx

I watched it as well and thought it was entertaining.

My mate Julien Macdonald was on twice. Firstly saying hello getting out of his car and then also telling the interviewer, in a Welsh accent thicker than Ruth Madoc's, when asked whose dress his companion was wearing replied
'It's Julien Macdonald of course.'

I made some shirts for David through Julien, and met Victoria as well, and they were both very nice though he seemed to be better with Brooklyn when he wanted feeding than she did.

Sorry, not really name dropping, just my past life as a fashion ho coming back to me through the mists of time.;)

I didn't mean to push you down memory lane, Rindy, but I do hate it when folks don't get their full credit in life.

Lots love x

I had the misfortune to accidentally tune in to this TV programme and I was simply sickened that this could ever be broadcast. Beckham supposidly has a job to do as captain of the England Football team and he should not underestimate the gravity of that position.

Instead, we see him and his totally talentless mrs wallowing in the half-baked cult of their own celebrity. Not only that, he had the gall to bring the boy Rooney along, who by rights should have been led in bed with his leg up in plaster.

Sadly, we shall not win this world cup while this fool, togeather with his Swedish side-kick Sven, remain in charge; a hasty exit for these two and their partners is the only hope for England and a banquishing from these shores a grateful release.

Is a banquishing a new name for one of posh and becks little celebrity do's but a sort of sit down spread rather than things on sticks?
:engsmil:

(the only reason I ask is because if it is, I won't bother going to anymore of their bashes, I hate those sit down meals were the waitress insists on putting your bib thingy on your lap instead of tucking it into your collar!).:D

Well done, Less. You did spot the little pun! The programme was supposedly all about a 'charity' fund raising banquet at Beckingham Palace, (as the tabloids refer to the Beckhams' abysmal Essex heap). One day - hopefully soon - we can banish the banqishers.

PS...The Becks' main residence is in Spain....just like Junetta. I have a theory that Junetta is Posh in disguise.......anyone agree?

thindle 31-05-2006 14:24

There are a lot more critically ill children around who don't get a look in. One can't or shouldn't single anyone out 'cause it's not fair on the others.:engsmil: Come on England:engsmil:

Totally Talentless? Im taking it your talking about the Victoria Beckham who was in the most famous girl band known to this day? I wonder how she landed herself with that job, being talentless..

If you'd have been listening instead of just oggling you'd have noticed that their home is in Hertfordshire not Essex.;)

She landed herself that job by virtue of queuing up behind a line of equally talentless squealing girls prior to the formation of a manufactured girl-band at a place called Danceworks in central London. The story goes that every single one of 'em were matched only in their awful mediocrity; nevertheless, the business plan was in place and a band had to be chosen that day to keep the idiots happy; coins were tossed and the rest is history.

She earned 17 million quid for being talentless.

There's hope for you if they are casting for a slightly older boy band.:D

I thought you'd be lurking around here. Who cares whether its Essex or Herts? I can only feel sorry for their poor neighbours.
