Ding Dong...

I heard church bells ringing this morning, and I can`t remember the last time that happened. Do bells only ring for weddings and the like, or should I get up a bit earlier on a sunday morning?

They practice quite often down here, they ring for weddings, but what I like most is when all the windows are open at night in summer and I hear the clock strike midnight, the sound drifts right across town, and it sound great, also when it's christmas eve and I hear the clock strike midnight. One year I'd like to go to midnight mass, but yes we have bells and it's fantastic, It's one of the good things about living in a small market town.

I think getting up earlier would be a good idea for you. They don't ring the bells at two in the afternoon ;)
