Bomb found in Accy??
 

On thenews this morning as I drove into work it said that 2 men were arrested after a tip off as a homemade explosive device was found in a house in Accy.

Anyone got anymore info? It mentioned that some houses were evacuated to ensure safety.

Saw a piece on the Beeb before I left for work this morning, apparently it was in Huncoat. All that a spokesperson would say was that it wasn't to do with terrorism but how do they know before they have conducted an investigation and, would they tell us if it was?

heard a report that said it was in the windermere ave area of huncoat, it also said that it is NOT terrorst related but DOMESTIC - excuse me am i missing something here a new fad perhaps? bomb the wife to solve an arguement.:D

I seem to recall that 3 or 4 months ago, some A level schoolboy in Haslingden got nicked for making a bomb with his chemistry set. Is this possibly something similar?

Three men were arrested aged 63, 25 and 16, and were booed by their evacuated neighbours as they were taken away.
