I'll never call HBC again.Well I don't think I will, until they upset me again. Approximately fifteen minutes ago two very well mannered young men called at my house to pick up a mattress. I informed them that the gate was unlocked, but they said that they found it stiff, so I gave it a good push, and they removed the offending unwanted item. They informed me that they didn't want to push the gate too hard in case they caused any damage. That was very thoughtful and considerate of them, and I praise them for their kindness, and prompt service. Well done HBC.

They are not as bad as some on here say they are at times.

I know that the council policy on bulk waste removal is being looked at closely so as to give the public a better and more comprehensive service. The other week there was an issue with clinical waste removal being scraped by HBC, this has now been reversed, with Peter Britcliffe insisting that this type of waste must be removed by the council seperately from ordinary household waste
