Tricky one - they are quite vocal when it comes to out of town developments and they stood up for the market hall developments that were proposed. I think they're used in a more reactionary way rather than proactive - from what I can see and I may be wrong!

probably. They need to be coming up with a long term stratagy for accringtons survival as a major shopping area, or it will carry on on it's route to becoming a local centre, I'm sure you get what I mean
