Kilometer stone? In the USA, certainly NOT! (In any case, if you want to be metric-silly, shouldn't it be kilometer-6.35029 kilos?)

My recent milestone - attending my first-ever AccyWeb gathering during my recent visit to the UK. :Banane48:

Another milestone was going to a cricket match and having the rudiments of the game explained so a baseball fan could understand - and enjoy (or was that due to the plentiful refills of cider).

Congrats, grannyclaret on your deification! :bow8::bow8::bow8:

I have another milestone due around the 15th September when a new grandchild (#11) will appear on the scene. My next personal milestone will be tomorrow, when and if I wake up alert and the one after that will be the day after.

Assuming that I continue to wake up alert on a daily basis for many days to come, 24th April 2007 will be my 70 milestone.

Might have know taurus, bloomin stubborn.

Can I be pedantic Billcat? Go on let me!

The stone in milestone doesn’t refer to a weight but to a lump of rock. Otherwise kilometre six point three kilos would be right. It still has a terrible ring to it though.
