I really miss the incisive comments and threads of AB. Does anyone know why he isn't posting these days?

I rarely speculate, but in the absence of A-B himself I would suggest the following factors may be responsible:

1) Too busy at his business (now a year old - a crucial time for a small business)

2) No "big" local issues to argue about.

3) Like me, absolutely appalled that a thread entitled "Big Brother" remains embedded within the General Chat section of this forum. This is the equivalent of a pile of sh*t on the carpet in the middle of the living room, festering there for the last 8 weeks or so. Thankfully, it now appears that contributions have died off so we may well see A-B back.

Listen Tealeaf, I hate Big Brother as much as you, however, we can't all be the' brains of serious issues 'can we ? Have to have a bit of fun on here now and then ya' know. :p

agree with tealeaf about the big brother thread, hence my abscense from it, but at the end of the day some who conribute to it, may well think threads myself and you tealeaf are a pile of sh*t, lifes all about opinions, the simple answer is avoid whats of no interest. life goes on.;)

That is a simple theory that can be put to the test. Anyone who thinks that Cashmans or my postings are a pile of s*it can now reply in the affirmative to this post. Somehow, I don't think we'll get many (especially given that Gayle & 'Rindy are absent without leave)

Yep they are tealeaf, but they are so bloody funny, thats again you've had my sides aching and waking the old dear downstairs up with my laughter.

TL will have to look at your postings and get back to you. Cashman and TL I have and will always value yours and ABs' comments as sometimes they get me thinking and then stimulate a reply while I may not always post I try to read as many threads as possible and I do tend to comment in threads that I feel need a response from me, if they don't then I don't comment but I have not posted comments in a thread that seems to poke fun at what other members like to state, listen to, watch on tv, but still value their comments.
