Sometimes it really worth complaining!!!
 

Well got my 1st dreaded big bill from bt with broadband today & it was a little more than expected because i banked on a promotional £20 discount that i joined bt BB on. Got bill no discount as i agreed to, so rang to enquire - got fobbed off as you expect saying it was for something else & weren't having it that it was them that was supposed to discount me.

Anyways to cut a long story short after submitting my complaint they rang me back at teatime to opologise & kiss my butt, as i was right after all good job i have good memory & kept record, so i got my £20 discount off my bill plus a further £10 off for reporting it to them & for customer service feedback:D So well worth the complaint!!:D specially just as oftel announce that they are removing themselves off BT's back as they are happy that they dont need to monitor bt anymore:rolleyes: :D

Just got a written confimation of it all from BT so its all gone official & i weren't dreaming hehehehe, makes me feel nice & smug lol :p:D

If you dont complain then its not only you that loses its others that lose out as well. Big companies make mistakes and are not always willing to come forward nor investigate how it happened. Hopefully they did investigate and reimburse those that suffered the same over billing. Nice one Mel a win for the small person.

Aparently there was 64 other people whom applied during that deal so those 64 people have now been re-imbersed too - even though they hadn't complained about it, so my complaint changed 64 peoples lives this billing month never mind my own!!

Now you put it like that Spuggie it was quite a victory one person can make a big deal :D
