BOROUGH TOP PLACE TO LIVE
 

Hyndburn is the sixth best place in the whole country a survey has revealed. So it says on the front page of the observer this morning. Low crime rate and cheap housing being the main factors.To quote greg pope who says "The figures actually understate how good things are in Hyndburn " i mean to say just what has accrington got to offer people from outside the area,in my opinion not a lot.If it was an up and comeing town then i am quite sure the house prices would no doubt be a lot higher. There i rest my case.

i used to live in blackpool,lived there for 25 years,and i have to say accrington beats it hands down.its cleaner, the people are so much friendlier and i love it hear! ;D

Accy's OK, come on it's not that bad. However I do agree, Janet, that the best places to live always have the highest housing prices, therefore this survey is a bit contradictory if it's saying Accy is a good place to live cos the housing prices are low.....

i lived in wales for 20yrs,  beleive me heres the best////   no place like home  as the saying goes,  [smiley=ello.gif] we are definitly are more friendier lot

You've got it jo, that's what i meant. If it was as good as Greg Pope thinks it is then surely people would be climbing over one another to buy houses here.Then it would'nt be a good place to live would it, we would have over priced housing just like down south.

s ???come on you lot accy IS getting a lot better, :house prices have gone up!! dont take my word for it go to: upmystreet web site and you will see,not only that people say theres not much to do, what about the nightlife, accy is famous for it`s clubs and pubs.The bowling and cinema. come on us accy lot lets be positive and spread the word. :  8)
