Why ENGLISH is so Hard to Learn
 
Agree or disagree?

Pity some at work cant. It started out as why cant we understand what you are saying (work mates to me) yet others can (Americans Dutch French Germans.) I was just curious.

One sentence I've always liked:- Though he sat on the tough bough by the trough, he fell through it. And was it G B Shaw who said the way to spell fish is ghoti - gh as in rough, o as in women and ti as in motion?

Yes Spuggie I understand what you mean.Even though two different words which are pronounced different,but spelt the same.How is someone french ,german or by any other decent suppose to be able to understand.But we could say that about some indigenous people of our fine country.........:) :)
