Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to the Xmas party - I'll be in Accy the week before!!
For anyone interested (come on you real boozers, any excuse is a good one), I could arrange a small get together on the evening of Sunday 7th or Monday 8th December. Free spag bol for Accy Webbers or something like that.
It would be an Italian night, though, so you would have to wwear or bring somehitng Italian!

Thought about The Whittakers Arms (ex-cemetary pub) on Burnley Rd, Accy. Know the landlord and landlady very well. Is it too far for you lot? Thought it would also make a change fromt he Oak Tree. What do think? They even have a nice coal fire.

I would suggest either Sunday 7th or Monday 8th, at around 8pm. Could that work? Need an idea of numbers so I know how much pasta to buy!! Monday would probably be best for me, though it is a strange night for a night out. May work though as people might not have anything else on. We'll put it to the vote.

Jo's husband's spaghetti party (not to be confused with Xmas party in the Oak tree) is as follows:

Monday 8th December 8pm at the Whittakers Arms Pub, Burnley Rd, Accrington (opposite the gates to the cemetary).
We will organise a free supper - real-style Italian pasta followed by Jam Butties for pudding.

Accy Web T-shirts are not compulsory, but will help us recognise each other.
Janet if you need a lift, let me know and I'll come and pick you up!
Will start a new topic so this doesn't get mixed up with Xmas bash! ;D Can't wait!!
