Big Brother Can Now Talk To You
 
In Middlesbrough at least some CCTV cameras can now blair (blare) out a warning if someone is stepping out of line.

How long before other towns follow suit?

Imagine – there you are strolling down the street in Middlesbrough (Accrington) when you toss your fag end into the gutter.
“Oy! You! Who tossed the fag end in the gutter. Warning! You should not drop your fag end in the street. Go and pick it up and put it in a bin or take it home.”
Or more likely:
“Oy! You! Who tossed the fag end in the gutter. Warning! You should not drop your fag end in the street. Go to the town Fines Office and pay £50. Do not pass go and do not collect £200. Failure to pay will increase the fine by £50 for each day until you pay.”

Could do with afew up this neck of the woods. Imagine they actually want to frighten someone with it and the ones that will get the biggest fright will be OAP's. Next thing they will fire a set of bollolas or whatever they are called at the offender to hold them untill the police arrive. Sorry but I think this is going too far.

They could have a nice polite voice saying "Excuse me, are you aware that there is a £59 fine for dropping dogends. Please place yours in the receptacle provided."

when teh trafford center had just opened i didnt notice any no smoking signs and walked in with my cigrette , i was almost at the end of my ciggy and had been walking around te place for about 2 or 3 mins when a voice cam eover the tanoid asking the guy in teh brown suede jacket to put his ciggy out. i looked around thinking obviously it must be somone else and realised it was me when i looked up at the camera and pointed to my self and teh voice said yes you .

with their been no ashtrays due to it been no smoking i mumbled where you want me to put it up my ass you wa**er

i learnt 2 things that day

1: the trafford center is no smoking

2: the camera audio is 2 way and they can hear u as well as talk to you :D
