;D  I'd love to be able to put faces to names, and if the christmas party doesn't take off, those of us who have put names down could always meet up anyway and have a couple of jars, but I really hope we get a good do out of it. I do sometimes wonder how many Accy Webbers I've seen in town, supermarket etc. and not known.

I Think we have a plan b to meet somewere like the oak tree if we cant get enough people for the party.
Iam sure it will be fun no matter whats organized.

She e mailed a photo to me a few weeks ago, it's a good one and she looks just as I remember her. I will e mail it to my brother in law, so that he can print it out for me ( as I don't have the equipment, or any kind of clue how to do it) and have already told her that I'm taking her with me!!! ;D

Think there should be a corner with a big notice board where we pin up the photos of all those who can't make it.
Only problem - can't for the life of me get a photo out of Mik Dickinson, might have to pop up to Bayern and catch him unawares!  :)

Might be a good idea to have the little pin-on name tags for everbody to.....lots of people are on here as their alter-ego and are otherwise very shy...and others are very bad at remembering names

If they turn up then the chances are they want to meet people.. Name tags with there messageboard names on and optional real name in brackets is a good idea. If here so shy they dont want people to know who they are then the chances of them being there are a bit thin to say the least :)

I will have sunglasses and a false beard. Just in case anyone wants to bite me hahaha :) :) :)

Even better - everyone has a box in front of them and pieces of paper and a pen and you have to write down who you think people are and put it in their box. then after an hour or so, everyone puts badges on and can look in their boxes to see who people thought they were....  ;D

You're right - if they're that shy they won't turn up in the first place. But - I was thinking of those people who just find it hard to open a conversation in a face to face situation..and there's lots of those around

yes only 20 said they will come the club holds 150-200 so it would look empty
and not worth ordering hotpot for so few
but we can have a good time in oak tree
