Absolutely unbelievable. A full stop wouldn't go a miss either.

Re: dont beleive the hype!
When I first read this post I thought it was a joke to spark a bit of debate, but it seems it`s true!!
When I saw the Observers headline last week, my first thought was good, another piece of scum locked up. If you are a drug dealer it is because you want to make a lot of easy money instead of working for it. I would`nt know where to buy drugs in Accrington, neither would my friends, work collegues or neighbours. Why, because you are in the minority and you hang around people who use drugs, where I`d avoid `em like the plague. You say your friend is also a father, my dad was a quiet unassuming man, hard working, well liked by all who met him. Could your friends children say the the same thing? |
Re: dont beleive the hype!
Perhaps this hardworking drug dealer could sue the paper for libel.
Is he in the 'Just an Average Drug Dealer's Union? |

When was the last time your average dealer included an instructions and dosesage sheet with his smack? My sister was pressured into taking the ****e and if I had my way I'd force the dealers to take till it killed em. Why can't you take some , take plenty, more than enough, Then I'll have party. |
Re: dont beleive the hype!
Wasn't that a scene from 'The Wild Geese' Madhatter?
Yes a lot of people take prescription drugs - some of us wouldn't be alive without them - but that's just the point they are on prescription and tested and monitored. Drug abuse is exactly what it says -- abuse. |

Good video, very hard hitting (excuse the pun).

Think it's too late for TRM's brain

Re: dont beleive the hype!
That first video really gets its point across Bazf. I pray my kids never get caught up in drugs. They know it's stupid but I still worry that someone might con them into taking something without them being aware of it.

I don't know if you could stop them, only warn them, some of the clips above may make them take a little more notice. This is a great website I know its "American" but if one kid see's it and it makes them think twice then it doesn't matter what country they are in. As part of my duties as a coach to the high school soccer team we discuss drugs once a month, mainly steroid use which is getting worse here in the U.S, but it allways ends up in discussions about who in the school is doing what, you will be amazed how much your kids know. |
Re: dont beleive the hype!
Yes they know quite a bit about girls who smoke, get drunk and get pregant but so far they don't know for sure of anyone taking drugs. In the Junior school they had visits from drug awareness teams.

Just thought I'd add this link to the Observer story.

Re: dont beleive the hype!
E was caught int the act so there is no way it could have been denied. He has only himself to blame for what happened and its his fault if his family are suffering because of it. Sadley though they have taken one of the streets but there will always be another waiting to take up the mantle.
