Why wasnt this front page news?

i found this buried in some archive in the lancs evenin telegraph website..

A FORMER British National Party member has been accused of possessing the largest amount of chemical explosives of its type ever found in the country.

Robert Cottage, 49, of Talbot Street, Colne, appeared before Burnley magistrates charged with possession of an explosive substance.

Cottage was charged under the Explosives Substances Act 1883 on Monday night after forensic experts searched his home, allegedly discovering chemical components which could be used to make explosives.

Even though it must be the worst local daily paper in the country, but in the LET's defence, Colne isn't in an area of the county they feature.

The Lancashire Telegraph has two editions - Burnley (covers Burnley, Nelson, Colne and Rossendale) and Blackburn/Hyndburn (covers Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, Blackburn and Darwen). It's highly possible that it was front page in the Burnley edition but not in ours.
