Degree success!!!
 

Had to let everyone know I just graduated. I have had a rough time at university and my goodness I didn't think I'd make it. However, all the hard work has obviously paid off as I'm now the proud owner of a second class honours degree in music.

Anyone else got their success stories

Its exactly twenty years since I became Rindy B.A. (Hons.)

I must admit though that I was more excited when I eventually passed my Maths O-level/GSCE, after going to Brixton College at night, after work.

What are your plans now, or are you taking a well deserved break?

Well done Steph....It's hard work isn't it? My graduation ceremony will be in December and I am just waiting for ratified results which should come this month... I have had unratified results so I know that I have passed.

I know that it is donkey work and wish I had done mine whilst I was younger and not had to work full time.

Well done! After leaving school with no qualifications and hardly being able to read and write I struggled in and out of crap jobs that paid for my drugs and drink untill I was about 21. Then I decided I'd had enough of that because basically it was killing me. So I stated to attend an art class and for about 10 years I was in and out of different courses - everything from Joinery (for three years), Film Studies and Psychology I went on to accomplish a 2nd honors degree in Cultural Studies about 5 years ago. I am still in debt from that but now I work for myself and I am doing quite well. P.S my grammar and spelling is still atrocious. :eek:
