Plane Fares

I'm normally in Ossy at this time of year but air fares to Manchester were pretty pricey for some strange reason. Usually, at half term week, I can get a return flight for less than fifty quid.

So, no Blackpool lights, no Fairhaven lake, no Blackburn Market and worst of all, I can't have several pints of Stella down the Stop on Quiz night!! Sorry, brother, I've missed seeing you too!

As an alternative, I thought I might try for Bristol and catch a bus to Cornwall to see my daughter but although it advertised flights for 62 euros as soon as I tried to book it..........159, if you please.

Not to worry, I blew my money on a new mobile phone and happen I'll get there at Easter.

Noticed this myself. We have just had visitors and hey paid 120 pound return from Manchester. If we booked here for the same flight it would have set us back 186 pound. For the same flight same airports

Happen it's something to do with the security arrangements which are in force. I suppose someone has to pay for it.

Not that I'm moaning about that as I'd rather have the safety.

If its something to do with security why such big diferences in prices? Ok oil prices are duing an impression of zebedee on speed but still have a suspition its a profit making act. The next finacial results from the companies might be interesting.

Where do you want to get a flight from Junetta?

From Tenerife, Kisser.

It's normally cheap at half term but wasn't this year.

Don't understand that Junetta ? Thought holidays/flights were more expensive at half-term due to the demand ?

All relevant to what you have been able to obtain though, isn't it ? Still feel what you have been quoted is still good value.. after all, would cost you twice as much to go to Manchester/London and back in your car (one person of course) than the ?? miles to Ternerife.

So, if you still lived over here, would cost you lots more to travel to Cornwall to see your daughter than flying in from Tenerife ! Average 40p per mile.

Sorry though, you can't make it this year, must be a disappointment x

Can you not get some of those Africans to bring you over on one of their rafts, once they've landed in Tenerife? You should be in the Stop and Rest by Christmas at the latest.:D

Sorry to hear you can't get home until Easter. It would be nice if one day one of your trips coincided with an Accy Web meet, so we could all get to put a face to the name.:)
