PARKING

Just be carfull where you park
A good friend of mine who is 86 and his wife went to a big store at the bottom of darwen street in Blackburn just under the bridge went on to there car park got two hp 940 ink cartrages cost 47 pounds.
his wife said she would like to have a look in darwen st so they left the car where it was.
went to have a look round when they got back there was a ticket on the car £40 fine the car park is not owned by the shop but private .
they were told there is a sign
i have been there a few times and never seen the sign so how do they expect a 86 year old to see it
he then pointed it out it was 20 feet up a wall 1ft square saying 2 hours only
yet on the door of the store there is a sign 6 ft high saying SALE NOW ON !! save pounds
so watch where you are parking
just a warning !!!
:D
so the ink ended costing him £87 expensive or what ???
he wants to appeal against this but not sure how to any help would be helpfull :D
if he pays the fine now its £40 if he contests it and looses its £60
as he is only on a pension he cant afford to pay this in one go anyway .
they said he has 7 days to pay or it will go up £20 per week until he pays the full amount
:'(
