I was thinking exactly the same Mel. I'd hate to face those dragons with an arts project!

All I meant by my post was that it had made me, like Mel, think of Dragon's Den and those guys are pretty formidable to the people who go before them with business ideas even when some of them seem to have quite good business ideas. I couldn't imagine trying to convince them that I was an artist worth patronising (patronising in the sense of being a patron of not in the sense of talking down to) when art is such a personal thing. I mean to some people an unmade bed is art to me it's an untidy mess which needs to be tidied.

How is an artist going to show how talented they are other than by showing one of their creations or projects?

Does that make my post any clearer? I hope so.

Ooops, my fault on that - it is open to all people not just artists.

I received it via Arts News so they'd obviously targetted it at artists for that particular bulletin and I meant to take that piece of info out of the post on here.

It's open to anyone who has a brilliant idea - not just artists.

0845 numbers aren't premier cost numbers,they are charged at local or at the most national rates:)
