It would have "walked" by now ....

Stripped my hallway out this morning of the tongue and groove i put up last year as we are having central heating put in week commencing the 14th Nov. Ive put all the wood in the garden at the front of the flat, hoping some kids might save me a trip to the tip tomorrow. Its been there 2 hours !!! You would have thought with it being bonfire night it would have gone within minutes.

When i was younger we used to go knocking for stuff to burn for our bommies.

Anybody want some wood for ya bommie ...... :D

Sorry bit too far for me to collect but I was the same when younger collect pester even technically redistibution for a better use of some.

They are proberly too busy planning on which steets to set the air bombs screachers and rockets off tonight as the baskets were at it at 02:00 this morning up here. :mad:

We've had a skip full of wood from the floor we ripped up outside the house since last week and nobody has taken or asked if they can have any.

we used to always go round collecting wood as kids it were like gold nearing bonfire night and a race between yours and the next gang as to who could collect the most , also rem the old trolleys we used to make with it as well

We never used to ask - we just took it. Dont know how many times my dad used to shout at us for taking the wrong stuff out of the garden!
