Heard on the radio the other day of the new date rape drug that is truly horrifying.
Aside from making you completely unaware of your surroundings, it is able to make the female reproductive system completely sterile for life.
What sort of society do we live in where people are this evil just for a quickie on a Saturday night?

Vigilance is always wise.

I suspect I heard the same radio programme as Willow. Apparently there are only two cases were 'date rape drugs' have been proved to have been used in a crime.

The most worrying drug is alcohol. The drug that makes people do things they shouldn't, or in some cases things they were so drunk they can't even remember if they consented to or not.

Watch your unattended drinks true, but also don't drink so much that you put yourself in unnecessary danger.

I'd like to bring everybodies attention to the SPIKEY. It is a plastic plug that goes into the top of your bottle. It doesn't make it impossible to stop somebody spiking your drink. But, it makes it extremely difficult. Bailey's had them available on the bar last year, but unfortunately people thought that they were great for decorating straws, or throwing at each other. According to the "Spikey" website, they are available at most Tesco stores. They are also available in a tub (about 100) for around £10/15 from Bookers cash & carry.

They are recommended by the police.

Its a good idea, but i can see why people just used them as toys.

I used to always make sure that my female friends carried a few in their bags when they were on a night out. Better to be safe, than sorry.

I agree, it's a corker of an idea. It would be nice if they did one that was a bit more somber, for us not as younger folk. :)

Even better still not have the drugs at all!

Me when i go out stops drinking when i get legless - i go home! But otherwise make sure i dont put my drink down at all unless i'm out with friends i can trust and who i know will look after it.

Most of you know what job i do. You'd be suprised how people i see each weekend that do leave their drinks unattended. For all the men that are reading this without a care in the world, thinking that is just a problem for the women
