Was it fare or Was it fair?

As is well known, I go out and quite a great deal, due to which I ended up at the best chinky chippy (without advertising THE chinese on Blackburn Rd).
I'm waiting for my order to arrive and a guy in an overcoat walks in, under his coat he has the distinctive trousers of a chef, he picked up, (and I know this because the young lady always reads out the order to make sure all is well), a very large and expensive meal for four people!

If there are eight of you out there still feeling hungry and also light in the pocket, I can tell you now the meal you paid for was a rip off!:o

how many chineese resturants are there around here there cant be many and to be honest i can only think of one which is not too far away from the takeaway you mentioned

if you send compliments to teh chef i wonder if teh takeway gets them lol

He was a white man! (am I allowed to say that or would I be a racist?).

I just hope there is someone about to go out who has placed a previous order can save their money by telling this 'chef' to sod off and get themselves a taxi to somewhere decent!

Oh, thats terrible accymel, I can sympathise with you as I too, have had to go without food! Fortunately, tonight, I managed this HUGE pork chop that was 90% meat and the tiniest of bone, had to be at least 1 inch thick, with beanshoots, fresh runner beans, roasted potatoes and the most glorious thick gravy........rounded off with a sprinkling of mint sauce (yes, I know it should be lamb - but I love it on ANY meat)

Because I understand, I feel that I must re-iterate to all you accywebbers out there NOT too mention food on this thread. :D
