Sex offender wanted list website
Launching the website last week, the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre stressed the move was not about "naming and shaming" offenders whose whereabouts are already known, but finding those who have gone missing and cannot be traced by the police.
For the website see http://www.ceop.gov.uk/wanted |
Re: Sex offender wanted list website
I had a look at that website last week when it first went live. Excellent idea, very commendable and a definite step in the right direction to keeping an eye on these people (the term people used very loosely in this case).

Re: Sex offender wanted list website
It certainly has helped, Spuggie. One of the offenders bricked it and handed himself in, probably to save himself from some summary justice from Joe Public.
Take a look. This is what you call a result! |

Re: Sex offender wanted list website
Keep your eye on Lydia Street 'accy' they send them to easy going area's like ours, my daughter got a move from that street through these perverts giving her kids their undevided attention. there are hundreds of them, not just the few shown on the site, the clever ones do not break the rules.

Re: Sex offender wanted list website
It's what they get up to during the day when not in that hostel on Lydia St that worries me - and they are there because the law put them there, not because they have escaped justice like the ones on this website.
Ooops! I don't mean THIS website - I mean the website referred to in this thread! :D |
