I'll claim it when my pockets are empty, I don't want any more loose change in them :D

Check? do it on-line, they email you if you have won, I do my own and the works syndicate on there, its quicker and easier than going the shop with the tickets :)

Well, it's not me, or is it.

I went to see someone the other week who expressed to me how when I was young money was hard to come by and two people working into old age with little to show for it was the norm. What came next made me think. She said you today are like what millionaires where like to us back in our day, by comparison I’m a rich man. Looking around me and looking at what I have I can understand what she meant. I have ****** all in my pocket, but i want for now't.

You know I've just been sat thinking. I use to go down Canal St to my Grandmas to watch Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and The lone Ranger every Saturday Morning. I don’t actually remember us have a telly at home, it the first time it’s dawned on that we didn’t have one.

Knoble  I was bl**dy poor. But it is making me think more about what my grandparents and my parents had to endure, I can't say that they where ever unhappy though.

Thank you........:o

Mine too :) ..... and as my parents and grand-parents would say 'brought up without 2 pennies to rub together' yet us kids were so happy. :)

I wouldn’t mind going back there for a short time to live some of those years again, surprising what you miss when you think about it. Surprising how much time makes you forget……I sometimes wonder if we ever went though some of the things we did.

Re: is it you?

We and our children are very materialistic these days, which is fine as long as we don't lose sight of what is REALLY important: Family, friends, health and happiness.

By the way 'It's NOT me!!!
