yes a good time was had by all... but it was flipping freezing nice to to see the town getting into the spirit of things though.... and no touble a nice family event.

We really made the effort to get a well known much loved celebrity like Ricky Tomlinson who turned Blackburn lights on. Who did we have...... a muslim..... I'm lost for words.

When I got to town at about 8 the only thing left was a load of police trying to move a load of chavs away from the center of town.. heh..

Town was full of them tonight!! That is the first thing I thought when I got into town..............OMG SOOOOOO many CHAV's in one place.


I did notice that in the observer last week it said there would be a crack down this year on kids with silly string, as it was costly to clean up afterwards.
My little boy had a go on a thing where you have to hit the button with a hammer and ring the bell. You win a prize. Loads of the prizes were silly string :confused::confused: and the police were stood right next to this stall.
That was the other thing I noticed..............POLICE everywhere!!! it looked like a footy match. NOT on!! this is supposed to be a family occassion and the start of christmas spirit, shouldn't need soooo many police. Can't believe it's come to this :mad:

I burnt that with the Burberry kecks,Burberry gloves,Burberry dog,Burberry fish,and Burberry ear muffs that I had Tinks........so don't go spreading rumors about me girlfriend!!! or I might get my hoody boyf onya ass, know wat I'm sayin like!!!

cheers yes any help you can offer I would be very grateful... normally my pictures are better than these, I was in a rush to get them on the site before midnight....
I am only just starting out doing this, but I felt it was a shame Accrington Market did not have a web site... plus I am born and bred in Accrington so at least I do have some interest in the town:
If anyone's got any views on the market please post them on my message forum ( I have asked permission to post on here... and I have provided a bit of a write up and banner link to this site....) so I think I have been a good little magpie :-)

So who turned on the lights ? was the firework display any good. We usually hear them up our way but got to admit i didnt hear anything last night. Also noticed people was back early this year !

Yeh it was a bit chav city out there last night, i was stood with someone having a right laugh about them LOL Some chavies thought walking round the crowd with their mobile phones light was mega cool :confused: LOL

Tho the most fitting thing was there was a CHAV SANTA :eek: never seen owt like it lmfao....fancy santa keeping up with them, wearing white chav tracksuit bottoms & chavvy trainers plus as camp as hell :rofl38:
