Glyn Webb

What a bad time to go into liquidization, especially with all the coucil houses getting decorating grants after theyve had work done on them.

Feel sorry for those who have paid for furniture and been told they will get a credit note in the near future ..... where will they be able to spend it then  ....the moon !

Accrington will remain open for the time being .... make sure all your wallpaper rolls match and you get enough of what you need...:(

Thought when I saw the heading it had been bonfired again. Feel sorry for those who are going to loose out and loose their jobs.

What will happen to the building once the one in Accrington closes, will this become another empty shop on Blackburn Road

They have 25% off everything at the moment so its a good time for buying wallpaper and paint. They had some 1 litre tins of gloss for 99p last night

Re: Glyn Webb

they had to close it - they really couldn't have had another insurance fire. Could they?

A great opportunity for a budding entrepreneur to start in the retail supply of wallpaper/paint etc, great building plenty of scope for a DIY store.

Re: Glyn Webb

anyone who has paid in advance get down there NOW and get your money back, There is no such thing in law as a non returnable deposit. Demand it now before they close!!!

Think thats a bit unfair silvermain ...To those working there that is a proper job and its all they got and to lose that esp just before xmas is gonna be a nightmare for most if not all of them . Sounds to me like your discriminating them just because of where they work

Re: Glyn Webb

I did my work experience from school there when it was the old asda as well. Remember the ramp down to the kiosk ? excellent for riding the trolley down :D
