One of those questions that need to be asked!!!
 
With all the weather warnings tonight about power cuts!! I got a little excited:o..............

Don't know why....but.....the thought of a power cut always gets my giddy bits......( if ya know what I mean).

Only had a few in my life time!!! but they are very sexy!!!

Well the wind seems to be dropping!!! and I'm sat here praying and praying it stays up!!!!

Lights keep dipping and internet keeps getting buggered off!!!! but nothing exciting has happened yet!!!:mad:

unusually i cant hear it up here normally a strong breeze makes a racket up on th'hills - i opened door looked like a breeze, so went out & i nearly blew away :eek: so yup its strongly disceiving out there:D

:eek::eek::eek::eek: I haven't been out in it!!!! but it sounds bloody strong!!!...........poor cat was hanging on the front door earlier looking through the glass window.............Zack opened the door and the cat swung in on it lol.....looks funny from outside hehehehe:D

you may have a point there slinks, power cuts are great in the evening especially if your a burgalar, or if your partners an ugly git,you can take em for a walk and nobody points at them.:D :D

Haven't been out yet today but listening to the wind it doesn't seem to be getting any calmer. Have to go to Asda, and keep putting it off.

Remember the power cuts of the 70s and don't want to go through that again.

Amazingly our boiler has stayed in. This is the boiler the gas man had said was defunct and which refused to work for days after he'd serviced it. One independant boiler service later and it's in finer fettle than it's ever been.

Your all bloody mad, I loved it up there when the weather was bad, get yourself up that hill Mel, get the cobwebs blow away......lol. :eek: It blowing up here, Going down to Dobbies this afternoon for some christmas bit and bobs....:)

I've always loved it when the electricity goes out. As a kid up in New England we'd lose power for up to 5 or 6 days. As long as we had enough wood and cellar filled with enough food, it made for a good time. After a big snowstorm, we'd get to take a sled up to store to pick up stuff. The roads were closed to vehicles and everyone would be out and about in the beaty and stillness.

Even know, though we only lose it for a day or two, we always take it as an adventure. Do puzzles, go sledding, play board games etc. Reminds me of simplier days!
