Mani, whats the difference between Brazilian Ju Jitsu and the normal? Kuon Ji? at Clayton is a good club.

BJJ is better on for grappling on the ground. submissions play a big part of it

It promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person using leverage and proper technique can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger assailant.

Mani I thought general Ju Jitsu had the same principal anyway the club at Clayton is full contact and has a good rep.

Its being run at the library now I think, used to be at the methodist church on Church St, its on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and is run by Tony Gregson.

Haslingden Sports Centre does BJJC and Shorai. You will have to give them a ring to find out exactly what days and what times though.

Mani write to Belmarsh Prison, H M Prisoner Ronald Biggs no doubt this 'gentleman' is familliar with the 'Brazilian' martial arts, he certainly knew how to duck and dive with them.
