follow on from last nights discussion (this is britain!)

as some of you may be aware a select few of us were up until the early hours discussing the very topical subject of racial integration (some of us discussed anyway whilst others resigned themselves to making personal attacks instead)
so i thought it would be interesting to see just how many accywebbers agree or disagree with the argument
so simply put whether you agree with the majority argument that british people have had enough or if you disagree
(if you wish to leave a reason you are more than welcome)

It is our politicians bending over backwards to accomodate the Muslims in the quest for votes that is my 'beef' so yes I am sick of it, more so when needy people cannot get tuppence out of the 'POT'.

Re: follow on from last nights discussion (this is britain!)

I've had enough of being told what to do. I think that left to our own devices people integrate well enough at their own level and speed. There is no official segregation like there used to be in the USA or S. Africa so in my opinion people have caused more problems by trying to mend what wasn't broke. Let's all get on with being who we are and enjoying our own thing as well as enjoying the differences which add to the richness of life.

However, isn't the recent request for people to integrate aimed at the immigrants and their descendants rather than the indiginous population?

Looking at the results of the poll so far,if the whole country feels the same way, then there's tough times ahead.

What the country needs is a size 12 boot jammed up the dumper.

OI WE AINT KIDS MR BLAIR AND CO!!!

I am old enough daft enough and educated enough as to make up my own mind!!!

I am so pe'ed off with faceless desk jockeys telling me what to do not do accept not accept that the life of a mountain man has a rather comforting warmth to it. All this intigration dumper deposits didnt work in NI so what chance here with more diversity but in some cases (though rare) more hatred.

Politicians /Elected leaders have never followed public opinion that would be an addmission to mob rule , ask any politician why they never have referendums on topics of pubic importance, the only time they have them is when there is a for-gone conclusion of the result and its the result they are in favor of .

I well remember a time when people did not abuse the system, or jump to the head of the queue, waited in line for whatever came your way or was available. There was a spirit of good will and people helped each other, now we are reduced to the laws of the jungle.

Re: follow on from last nights discussion (this is britain!)

That's all too apparant Ianto when you look at the good old British queue. We used to queue up in a nice orderly manner for buses and to be served in shops etc but now it's a mad free for all with people elbowing their way in front of others. I can never tell where the Fern Gore bus queue is these days, people seem to head for the bus from all directions when it arrives in spite of those queuing in the actual bus stop. The other day when the bus arrived up here a couple of kids getting on didn't even wait for people to get off and it's not easy pushing past them when you've got half a dozen bags of shopping.
