Tracking Santa.

Just heard a lovely item on the Chris Evan's show on Radio 2 tonight re. a company in America that tracks Santa on his way around the world on Christmas Eve.

Seems Rudolph's nose is so bright this is the catalyst. Santa gets tracked with pictures around places like the Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal and other famous sights, he is also escorted by jets at different stages and welcome messages, etc.

What a lovely idea from a high tech company .. wish my children were small again... might take a look myself to see when he will get to my house :D

Sorry, was driving and didn't catch the web-site, but think www.nomad.com
Which page I don't know.

Only thought that crossed my mind was that he possibly wouldn't be passing over some third world countries where Santa never calls.

yep, its a cute site for those with young kiddies , for those in Europe and the Americas its a good way of coaxing the kids to bed by showing them Santa is on his way , the trip sets out in New Zealand (first place to celebrate Christmas), you need to check the time difference to UK time, and then travels west by each hourly time zone and finally ends in Hawaii 22/23 hours later

a bit of useless trivia .......... The original site was set up during the 50/60s by some 'tech geek' guys in the USAF who were manning the DEW Line ( defense system watching for incoming Russian missiles ) as a bit of a joke with their buddies in other watch stations , long before anyone thought of the internet

Santa likes a cup of coffee and a mince pie. Don't forget the carrot for Rudolph.

That's another one for the PC brigade.

All parents MUST NOT tell their kiddies to leave alcohol out for santa as this encourages drink driving when they get older ;) you watch
