Ive Run Round Like A Pleb For Nothing !
 

I bought another pressie for Alec for xmas at ASDA, it needed batteries so i asked for the ones it stated on the box. The girl on home and leisure department looked and looked for them and couldnt find them. So i was told that if i couldnt get them or if they was a lot of money i could take the pressie back for a full refund seeing as they didnt do the batteries the pressie so required.

Ive spent almost 2 hours today trawling around every where that sells batteries only to be told they dont stock them or have never heard of the ones i wanted.

Last stop was Max Spielmans as i was told the batteries i needed was the small circular ones. Told her the product code and she slapped a pack of AAA's down :eek: with the code clearly printed on.

So if anybody has bought something that requires LR03 batteries, they are the AAA's 1.5v

Cant say what it is i have bought as Alec reads the forums but if you are intreagued as to what it was ive bought PM me.

Grrrrrrrrrr at ASDA, felt like ringing them and telling them they owe me 2" in rubber on my shoes ! :eek:

Isnt pressie buying fun - not! They sell AAA batteries in the market, bugs me why if a product requires batteries then why dont they include them otherwise its useless without them bloody pains its a surprise when something actually does come with batteries included:eek:

It is good when they come with batteries included.

I think Argos always ask if you want to buy them if an item requires them. Saves the messing.

Just looked at argos website, they do the game and give the real size batteries ...AAA's , but ASDA selling same item £7.00 cheaper.

Maybe they should learn the comparative lists of battery codes for items manufactured in different countries. :rolleyes:

everybody knows that LR03 are AAA! like LR6 are AA!............dont they? or is it just me:rolleyes: must be cuz ive bought that many batteries for my kids toys and the ruddy remotes in the house!!:p

Well in that case were would I get Energiser Titanium AAAA from? I need them for my led torch.

I never ask for them by code just pencil or pen light double tops son and fathers. :D

get duracell aaa bateries for a pound a pack at poundland ( i think u get 3 in a pack but definatly 2

or get a sheet of 20 crappy ones at the same place
