Watched on the box this crimbo.I have to recommend Superman Returns,Snakes on a plane & Adrift on DVD cos the crimbo viewing on TVhas been its usual crap.Things were better in the 70's with Yarwood & Morcambe & Wise,plus we got snow.Now its like Bruce Springsteen said ..57 channels & nothing on,not even at xmas......& no snow either:(

Movies: "It's a Wonderful Life", "Miracle on 34th Street"

Show Presentation: "South Pacific" -- live in concert from Carnegie Hall. (PBS)

Local Presentation: "The Desert speaks -- Petrified Forest" (PBS)

fed up with havin loadsa channels and flicking through for ages cos theres nowt good on.

The goggle box was a waste of space so havnt really bothered with it. There are so many repeats and useless programs its not worth the effort or the cost of the leccy to turn it on.

TV over Christmas this year has been dire!! I did enjoy Hogfather on Sky 1 and the Christmas episode of Dr Who :)

I also enjoyed the dr who xmas special

but due to being at my mums over crimbo ended up watching vicar of dibley...stopped watching this ages ago as it always seemed to be the same old nonsense...but

I LAUGHED SO MUCH I NEARLY WET MYSELF:p roll on new years day for the last ever episode :D

Haven't watched much, but loved the three Worse Days of Your Life programmes. Great cast, and laugh out loud funny, similarly as daft as Fawlty Towers.

i rather enjoyed the adaptation of terry pratchetts the hogfather
i thought it transferred quite well to tv.

I've enjoyed Dr Who, and Little Britain Abroad, Vicar Of Dibley was good aswell. Don't watch the soaps at Xmas.... far to depressing, although when I flicked over waiting for Vicar Of Dibley I did manage to catch Pauline die on 'Enders. Oh Happy Day!!! LOL!!

tonight after surfing the TV schedule I have a choice of two movies either "the Magnificent Seven" or "Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy" :confused:

I'm with j5b watched the Casualty Christmas special and sobbed my heart out. Also watched some of Corrie, but dissapointed because i too thought Charlie was going to get killed of. That's been about it.

The normal stuff, Corrie, Eastenders and Casualty. Vicar of Dibley was ok and I´ve yet to watch the second episode.

I did enjoy The Big Fat Quiz though. A bit ridiculous but it made me laugh.

I think the best thing I watched over the Holls was 40 best moments from Only Fools and Hourses on Uk Gold New Years Day, the veiwers voted for their favourits the Top three were

1. Del falling through the open bar flap
2 The chandelier
3 Batman Robin

If they show it again its well woth watch, 2 hours of side splitting laughter
