after various late developments like peopel falling ill or having sitters cancell or not be avaikable i managed to tag along to a do :D

not arsed about going out xmas because i drive the next day but new years eve is the one day i will crawl out on my hands and knees if i have to :D

Mrs H has gone over to her daughters in Leigh, so, as I can't be doing with all that Auld Lang Syne malarky, I've got the rock 'n' roll music on loud and I'm sitting here with my good friend, Johnnie Walker. ashamed of you jen i would never ever set foot in a pub i supped in all year to be charged at new years. me i,m stopping in cos paris is still as rough as rats.

I went up to Garstang to pick up a Chinese about an hour ago and the roads are a bit dodgy. Some very strong cross winds and low level debris being blown about. Not good conditions folks so if you do have to go out or drive please take good care of yourselves and those in your company. Enjoy the evening safely.

The Chinese was bloody lovely.

It's 4:40 over here am me and Cindy still haven't decided whether to go out or not. Have been invited to 3 houses but would face consternation if we went to one an not the other cause 2 "house" are being very friendly with each other at the moment.

House A - Just a few couples playing card games with a wee bit of alcohol involved,

House B - Mostly eating alot and yakking but no alcohol,

House C - Same as C but this is where Fishand Chips is spending the night.

Either way, we'll have to be back here by ~10:30 as Annie is having a number of her teen friends over to hang out in the basement.

Hey, if the new Year rolls in over there and it doesn't look much different then this year. Give me a shout so I can just go to bed!:D

Staying in staring at five bottles of Merlot I am unable to drink due to medication, it's taken years to educate the kid's to get the 'right brand', this year all five of them got it right for the first time, life can be so damn cruel!

Looks like we will be staying in. It just starting raining so that made the decision easier still many, many drunk driving over here and rather avoid them. Plus the series "24" is having a 4 hours worth of new shows tonight.

Though not expecting to get rat a'ed, did just open my first can of Guiness.

Have you noticed how good it tastes going down and when you wake up you feel lousy, my late father said it was the sleep in between that did it not the drink. Yes enjoy it mate ,I'll have one with you in the New Year ,regards Ian.

Actually, Ian, read an article in the papers re: Merlot ... has a property that normallly the glands secrete to give you good night's sleep and Merlot has this !!! So treat as medicinal when recovered ... :D xxx

My God, here's me turning over a new leaf and you lot are at it hammer and patches.

I stayed in and watched American Pie “The Naked Mile” or by it other name “a cheap excuse to make a soft porn Movie”. I can recommend it for a good belly laugh for those with a sense of humour. Had a few pints, thought of days and years that have past and reconciled myself to old age.

he he he ive just strolled in been in the willow mount club since 7pm with my mates ........we even had the accrington pipe band ....& a not too bad singer, plus my mates daughter asked her feller to marry her ..........he said yes ......it was quite romantic she asked him by shouting through the mike he he .
