Well we've opened the presents,pulled the crackers,drank all the booze,put on half a stone & let off all the party poppers.Anyone else feel like me and be glad to get back to work(if your'e fortunate enuogh to have a job).I'm back tomorrow,so the missus is taking the tree & trimmings down and getting the gaff back to normality.And my liver needs a break:D

Had to work last Thursday for one day, so don't go back till Wednesday. Think i'm going to spend tomorrow catching up on some much needed sleep, then catch up on some cleaning.

Not having worked since i was 8 months pregnant its weird at christmas-there is no time off/holiday from work so until christmas day it didn't really feel any different to me this year and last.very strange indeed.
In the process of taking down all my decorations and tree right now-as much as i loved them and the excitement of putting them all up i am glad they are off back up into the loft,getting my lounge back to normal is bliss!although i underestimated how much space jacks toys would take up- i think i need to rent another house for them all:(

Im not back to work ,but tomorrow I will be happily taking my decs down and getting back to normal although then i shall start preparing to decorate ...so its never ending lol...

I'll be glad when my daughter goes back to school on Wednesday but it would be even nicer if I didn't have to go back to work :(

Well its been a mighty strange xmas and new year this year ..ive spent most of the time visiting hospital... but i hope to catch up on frivollities soon... :)

Just a load of cleaning up yet again today to do & so hope that with them all down my kids will settle down & take the hint its over & back to normal - whatever that is:D Blooming party popper thingys get everywhere be finding some in summer LOL!

We like to say that the deco's are for the weans but they are really for us "old uns" :eek: ;) :D

I was told when i was a kid that its bad luck to take your xmas decorations down before the 12th night and if you leave them up after that then its bad luck to take them down you have to leave them up all year. Thats why the xmas stocking was still up in the little front room all year!


i think im going to go back to bed. I need sleep!

Well unfortunatley as I work in a pub have had no time off at all, I did manage to finish early on Saturday and had a cracking night (cheers Kitty & Chav) apart from that the only way I know its not Xmas anymore is that the decs have come down both at home and work! And I don't have to do anymore 15 hour shifts!!! YIPPEE!!!

Have had a good one though as it was Harry's first.
