Rule Britannia....not for much longer

According to the attached news report the Royal Navy is to be cut down to less than 25 active warships, so next time the Argies take the Falklands guess the troops will have to use the Mona Queen for transport , any wonder the Germans, French and Italians refer to Britain as that little island off the coast of Europe, guess its not a problem the Yanks will come and defend their bitch .........like they usually do ..:D :D :D :D not much longer before you guys become the 52nd State

As for the Germans, 2 nowt, French and Italians had a tank in the last war, five reverse gears and one forward gear, when asked what the forward gear was for they replied "in case we get attacked from behind" as for the Yanks they never join owt till thev'e made a profit.

I ditto you on the Germans, French and Italians. However, I must remind you that America, from its founding, has always been rather isolationist. The Founders thought it best to stay clear of foreign wars. They wanted peaceful trade only. But even in their day, they were not able to maintain that stance.......(hello, Barbary Pirates). They tried a little bribery. That only went so far. Finally, President James Madison decided enough was enough. Quoting President Madison....."The U.S., whilst they wish for war with no nation, will buy peace with none. Peace is better than war. War is better than tribute."
