I Wish I’d Done …..
 

Now this isn’t going to be quite as macabre as it may seem at first glance so please bear with me for a while.

At some time in the future you are lying on your death bed and your thoughts turn to your past life and you think – I wish I had done ………

What would be your answer?

Mine would have to be “I wish I could have learned to play the piano like “Fats” Waller.

It’s probably too late for me to learn now but you younger people don’t let your dream slip by you. Make an effort so that when the time comes instead of thinking “I wish I had done ………” you can remember that you did.

I think mine will be 'i wish i had had done more before i had my child' dont get me wrong my life is now complete now i have jack, but until you have a child i don't believe anyone can understand how much it stops you from doing-or maybe it was just my naivity??People told me it would be a shock and i tried to prepare myself but hey-it still wasn't enough.

Time left yet (I Hope!!!)

But I want to travel round east Asia (Vietnam/cambodia/China/ etc)

Safari, to see 'proper' animals in their environment where in their eyes I'm lunch/dinner/tea all rolled into one.

Himalayas would be nice as well.........Helicopter to top of everest please!!!

i dont wish i'd done anything other than the things ive already done, i had a great childhood,even better teenage years (thanks to tinks) ive never regretted anything ive ever done, i live life as i want to live it, i take my son all over the country so he's not stuck in all the time, i couldnt of asked for a better life :D....great thread jambutty :D

Mine would be - I wish I had more confidence in myself and believed in myself more. I have always been a shy and unconfident person which I feel has let me down at times.

i wished i could go to see my friend who lives in australia ...i wanted to go when i was 60yrs old (my pressie to me )....but fate took a hand & went in in my 51st year ooooo that was the best thing id ever done up till then .....apart from having my children & so forth......sorry got no dreams just want a happy life, till i pop my clogs
