Wasn't sure which section to put this thread because it's about footballers but also general news. These players are on thousands a week, especially Johnson. Pure greed or stupid, you decide :)



Portsmouth's Glenn Johnson, was given an on-the-spot fine for stealing bathroom fittings at a B&Q store in Dartford, Kent, on Wednesday.

school boy stuff, don't think its greed but it is stupid, just like richard madley stealing wine/winoma ryder stealing clothes..loadsa money but they want to see if they can get away with it

bye the bye .. just heard brain ferry's son.. don't know him.. did not get a driving ban today, despit being well over the limit he was found not guilty because he said he's mates were giving him treble vodkas when he thought they were singles.
the same ferry attacked the house of parliment a couple of years ago and got a small fine... one rule for the posh and one for the common

I have no problem with you snipin' at me, infact you've been doing it since the local (but not village) elections last May, or indeed with you calling me a snob. Though I would refute that, as I wouldn't be talking to you now.

I see it as a compliment.

It's a jealousy/cultural thing. A little like Jade's feelings of inferiority towards Shilpa.

jes some people really get locked into this.. why not just have a debate about stuff?. people get all personal. fed up of the so called.. " I say want I want" brigade who do contribute to the forum but are looking old..posting stuff about the bin man and asians parking habits are old stuff .. this is really not contributing to the new britiain..

What 'new Britain'?
There won't ever be a 'new Britain' & no 'meaningful discussions' on an internet forum will ever change that.

We go to the shops & moan about the queues, go to work & moan about the boss, go to the football & moan about the ref, go out on the town & moan about your slag of a mate that got off with the one you fancy.
We all know this is meaningless, but it distracts us from the reality that we're getting ever closer to the hole in the ground without ever doing anything meaningful.

In short we should all shoot ourselves now, but we'd rather moan about the bins if you don't mind.
