The worrying thing about a letter bomb is that it has to be quite a sophisticated piece of kit, it has to stand the rigours of being posted and going through postal system without exploding, as the object of the maker/senders wrath is a specific target, so these people are very dangerous, I think they claimed their first casualty today 7th Feb.What makes it hard to track these bombers down is it is difficult to keep one 'intact' for safety reasons, as they only explode on opening. Motorist have a hard time I agree, some 30mph limits are in the wrong place as things change with time, and the powers that be seem to target these soft areas. Traffic Wadens are only doing a job (as Himmler said) and I don't think they have 'sticky proof' cars.

yes yes we all know speed limits are there for a reason but they deliberatly put speed cameras in places liek at the end of a 50 zone entering a 30 zone knowing damn well drivers cant slow to 30 that quick especialy if cars are behind them

no problem with speed cameras out side schools etc but 90% of cameras are put in places where they arnt needed and are soley there to create revenue and not to provide safety measures in any way what so ever

tonight for example in my other post about an accident there is no camera and it is notorious for accidents , you can see all teh parts of teh walls missing where cars have crashed yet they put a camera 200 yards up the road where there is no dangerous bend , no school no nothing to warrant a speed camera infact therea re 2 cameras there one on each side of the road but just firther into rishton is my sons school with NO speed camera anywhere and teh road there is used a lot by junior school children to cross

Absolutely Agree 100/ per cent ....where i live a child got knocked down and killed outside my daughters school 2 yrs ago
the road .although a 30 mph limit...... most did at least 40mph...but now ..and yes ASDA paid for it we now have a traffic light controlled area.......

But ....500 yards up the rd is a speed camera. outside a junction for an industrial estate......HELLO!!!!!... whats the priority here ....you cant really exceed the speed limit as the traffic is always running slow because of a roundabout another 50 yrds up the rd .leading onto the motorway ...so yes i can see where your coming from chav ..... revenue seems to take priority over lives.....BLOODY DISGUSTING!!!!!!

I think that everyone who has to send a letter/form to the DVLA or returning the speed camera forms etc should send it in a jiffy bag. Imagine the effect of having to check thousands of jiffy bags a day instead of the usual envelope. They would grind to a halt. Send the speed ones registered so you have proof of receipt, I bet they would not action it in time before the deadlines if everyone did it at the moment :D
